The Patchogue Sketch Club was created for the purpose of getting people together to discover the value of sketching. Sketching itself is its own art form, sketching helps artists "see" better and enhances drawing skills. Sketching is also a fun way of recording the world around us much more intimately than a camera. The Patchogue Sketch Club Outings are open to everyone and there is no fee, unless the venue where we are sketching charges a fee for admission.

This Wednesday - May 4th 4:30 to Dusk
This week we will be meeting down by Corey Beach in Bayport. From Montauk Highway, take Atantic Ave to Middle road, turn right on Middle Road. Take Middle Road to Corey Ave (at Flo's Luncheonette). Go down to the end and if it's raining, find a spot and sketch from the car. You can go all the way to the end and sketch the boats or stay toward the beach and sketch. The time is open, come and go any time your schedule allows between 4:30 and Dusk.
