The Patchogue Sketch Club was created for the purpose of getting people together to discover the value of sketching. Sketching itself is its own art form, sketching helps artists "see" better and enhances drawing skills. Sketching is also a fun way of recording the world around us much more intimately than a camera. The Patchogue Sketch Club Outings are open to everyone and there is no fee, unless the venue where we are sketching charges a fee for admission.

This Wednesday, August 24th 6:30 PM
This week we are going to go to Sayville to sketch some store fronts.....trying to get as much "outdoor time" in as we can before it gets too cool and it's already getting chilly in the evening. We'll start out over by Starbuck's, in case anyone needs a warm brew...and then we can fan out and sketch our favorite shops. If you can't find a parking spot on Main street, there is parking behind Starbuck's.
