The Patchogue Sketch Club was created for the purpose of getting people together to discover the value of sketching. Sketching itself is its own art form, sketching helps artists "see" better and enhances drawing skills. Sketching is also a fun way of recording the world around us much more intimately than a camera. The Patchogue Sketch Club Outings are open to everyone and there is no fee, unless the venue where we are sketching charges a fee for admission.

This Wednesday June 22nd at 6PM
We are going to sketch in Bellport this week, around the Community Center, on 4 Bell Street, in Bellport. The Historical Society is around the corner and we may be asking permission to sketch there, otherwise, there are a few quaint store fronts on Bell Street we can sketch. At 7:15, SBAA will have their General Membership meeting and critique. All are welcome to attend the SBAA meeting and maybe even sketch there!
