Sketch Night will be at the Roast Coffee & Tea Company on Main Street in Patchogue, Wednesday at  7 PM.  Mellow out with a nice cuppa Joe or one of the many other hot seasonal beverages they are offering.

Two things
First, Sketch Night will be at the Roast Coffee & Tea Company on Main Street in Patchogue, Wednesday at  7 PM.  Mellow out Thanksgiving Eve with a nice cuppa Joe or one of the many other hot seasonal beverages they are offering.

Second, I am still looking for the Autumn Challenge Sketches so that I can update the pix on the blog and FB.....get them in if you want your sketch or autumn plein air piece featured this month...horizontal sketches will work best....see the "PINNED POST" on our FB Group.

This Wednesday at 6:30PM

We are going to sketch over at the Sun Vet Mall on Sunrise Highway where we sketched last year..  Sun Vet Mall is on Sunrise Highway near Vet's Highway, and is a tiny Mall that has AC Moore and Toys R Us as anchor stores.....If you go in on the AC Moore side of the mall, you'll find some benches and stuff, but bring a folding chair in your car just in case.

Folks, this week we are going to Panera in Bohemia, on Sunrise Hwy near the Pier 1. 

The address is 5191 Sunrise HWy, Bohemia.

I didn't bother to get the back room because if we are back there, there won't be much to sketch.....I don't know how busy it will be and there are booths and some tables.  Just grab a spot where you can and sketch.  And you might want to grab a beverage or something so they don't kick us out.

STILL LIFE NIGHT!   Back by popular demand....

Anyone who is attending sketch tomorrow evening, please bring something for a Still life for us to sketch at the PAC Gallery on Terry St in Patchogue.

Next week, we will probably sketch at Panera's...more details to come.

Wednesday October 29 6-8PM

  We will be sketching at the Cheese Patch, 20 E Main Street in Patchogue from 6-8.  Nice little spot to sketch.  

This Wednesday at 7:15 PM

This Wednesday at 7:15 PM, there is a South Bay Meeting with a Critque afterwards.....it's at the Bellport Community Center on Bell St, in Bellport.....it's the same shared parking lot as Porter's restaurant.

We will be sketching there and you can bring work to be critiqued if you wish.

There are still the ongoing exhibits in Patchogue if you want to sketch those before the meeting..    There is the POP M'Art at 46 E Main Street, there is the Photography Show at Roast 41 E Main, and the Patchogue Arts Gallery at 20 Terry St.  Some of your fellow sketch clubbers and South Bay friends have art in these galleries.

Plus there is a bunch of scupltures scattered around the Patchogue village to sketch.  There is a list on line on the arts council's web site with the info where and when everything is.

NEXT WEEK:  we will be sketching at the Cheese Patch 20 E Main Street in Patchogue from 6-8.
