This week we are sketching The Grange in Sayville located on Montauk Highway & Broadway Ave.  We'll sketch until dark.  There are some great buildings to sketch on that property.   In the event that Wednesday has bad weather, we will be canceling Wednesday.

This Wednesday at 6:30 PM

We will meet at the Roast Coffee and Tea Company in Patchogue.

Folks, here's the info for this week's sketch outing......We will be attending the solar plate demo and you can also sketch along as the demo is being conducted....also, check out our Facebook Group to see what we have been doing!

The South Bay Art Association is pleased to announce that artists Michael Maas & Rosamaria Eisler will be conducting a Solarplate Etching demonstration.  The monthly meeting and demo will being at 7:15 PM, February 26th, 2014, at the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport NY.  The demo will immediately follow the monthly meeting and is free for anyone who wishes to attend

Folks,

I spoke to Meetball over the weekend and they would be delighted to have us come sketch this week.

For those not familiar, That Meetball Place, 54 W Main St, Patchogue, NY 11772, is on the West side of Main Street in Patchogue, almost across from the Brick House Brewery.

If you want to come out and grab some grub, we'll be there around 6:30.  It's not fancy, it's meatballs served a few different ways.....there's veggie meatballs, regular meatballs, seafood meatlballs, etc....it's different, it's a big place and they can accomodate the sketch club on Wednesday nights.

Although this afternoon is expecting rain, I see that later on it's supposed to get icy again.

I am canceling this evening for everyone's safety.
