Wednesday at 6PM

We are going to meet this week in Sayville down by the water where if it's nice, we can sit out and sketch or have the option to sketch from our cars if it's chilly.

You need to take S Main St/Middle Road to Seaman Road. Follow Seaman Road South to Brown's River Road, which should be the 2nd road on your right. Take that to the the end until you reach the waterfront and we will be sketching there. It's a good location for either sketching from the car or out in the open.

This week we are sketching at the SBAA meeting.....Chris Taylor  will be conducting a demo in fish printing - Gyotaku over a batik background on fabric, at 7:15 on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013, at the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell St. Bellport, NY. During the demo, attendees will be given a chance to produce their own print with materials on hand for the demo.

Come on out to sketch and do a fish print!

It's fun and FREE.

This Wednesday at 6:30pm

We will be sketching at the Roast Coffee and Tea Company on Main Street in Patchogue near the Theater.

If it is mild and you want to sketch the town outside feel free.  

I'll be in the coffee shop around 6:30.

this week we are sketching The Grange in Sayville located on Montauk Highway & Broadway Ave.  We'll sketch until dark.  There are some great buildings to sketch on that property....

I am having surgery on my elbow tomorrow morning so I am not sure I'll be well enough to drive on Wednesday yet...

This Wednesday we are sketching at the Patchogue Theater  but I MUST know who is coming so I can give Chris the names by tomorrow evening.....You can add a comment below or call me at 609-937-2691.

 We are sketching "Live in the lobby with Pink Fraud", It's March 6, 7:30 PM -  in the Lobby of the theater.   We expect a very full house so if you are coming to sketch, please let me know so I can let Chris know - 

Also, if you know anyone who might want to attend, they can call 207-1313 to reserve a ticket and since seating is limited, they should arrive early if they want a chair.  Tickets are $10 and include a drink.

Also, our first venue back to the outdoors will be the Grange in Sayville on March 13th.

Also, please let Gina know if you are interested in attending Pink Fraud (a Pink Floyd cover band) at the Patchogue Theater on May 6th at 7:30 PM....Chris Capobianco has graciously invited us to come sketch.  If you have family members that are not sketchers and would also like to attend, the tickets are $10 a piece at the box office and the ticket price includes a free drink.

Please let me if you are attending because I need to give Chris a head count by next Monday.

Also, it will be Daylight Savings time the Weekend of March 10th and you know what that means!!!!  It will be light enough to go outside to sketch.....as of right now, we are scheduling to sketch the Grange in Sayville at 6:30 PM on Wednesday March 13.....
