The Patchogue Sketch Club was created for the purpose of getting people together to discover the value of sketching. Sketching itself is its own art form, sketching helps artists "see" better and enhances drawing skills. Sketching is also a fun way of recording the world around us much more intimately than a camera. The Patchogue Sketch Club Outings are open to everyone and there is no fee, unless the venue where we are sketching charges a fee for admission.
The South Bay Art Association is pleased to announce that artists Michael Maas & Rosamaria Eisler will be conducting a Solarplate Etching demonstration. The monthly meeting and demo will being at 7:15 PM, February 26th, 2014, at the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport NY. The demo will immediately follow the monthly meeting and is free for anyone who wishes to attend
