We'll meet around 6PM. Bring the insect repellent just in case.
The Patchogue Sketch Club was created for the purpose of getting people together to discover the value of sketching. Sketching itself is its own art form, sketching helps artists "see" better and enhances drawing skills. Sketching is also a fun way of recording the world around us much more intimately than a camera. The Patchogue Sketch Club Outings are open to everyone and there is no fee, unless the venue where we are sketching charges a fee for admission.

This week we will be sketching at the very end of Blue Point Ave, by the water. There is a Gazebo and some marsh that make it a nice place to sketch, there are also some nice sunsets here. There are also some cute houses right in the vicinity as well.

This Wednesday at 6PM
It looks like it might be a rainy evening. We are going to sketch in Patchogue down near Queen City Cupcakes. For those of you not minding the weather, we can sketch Brick House Brewery (BHB) or structures down by BHB, like Quench or the Antique shop....if it rains and you want to come indoors, we will sketch in Queen City cupcakes to enjoy Carol's decorative shop and cupcakes, or you can cross the street and sketch in BHB and have a brew instead.....
