This Wednesday 6:30 to 8:30 PM

This Wednesday we are going to be using the craft room at Michaels on Sunrise Hwy to sketch.  We’ll be doing a still life so bring some items to sketch.  

The address is 499 Sunrise Hwy W in Patchogue….it’s right next door to the new Dick’s Sporting Goods.  

It’s Free, I found out from Amy that they loan their room out for gatherings such as ours.

Folks, we’ll be sketching at Panera, on Sunrise HWY near the Pier 1 in Bohema.

We are running out of indoor places to sketch so if you know of a place that would be a good idea, let me know.  

Panera is big enough to handle us…I’ll probably be sitting by the fireplace again.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and Happy New Year

It's that special time of year again where we celebrate the holidays and this year, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve have fallen on Wednesdays.  There were be no organized sketch nights but you will be encouraged to sketch any activities you attend.  We will be starting sketch night back up again on January 7th.

Watch Facebook for Seasonal Challenges and for posting holiday sketches.  I will be posting a challenge over the holidays on Facebook.

So from my family to yours, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and have a very happy and safe New Year!

Folks, we are going to sketch at Roast Coffee and Tea Company on Main Street in Patchogue tonight at 6:30 PM.

Please note that Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are Wednesdays this year so I may be coming up with alternatives like challenges or an alternate sketch day/night to make up for it so please watch for these in your email and Facebook.

Sketch Night 6:30 PM this evening

For Sketch Night Tonight note the time, 6:30PM.......Before you read the venue below, if it is snowing this evening and the roads are NOT safe and a wee bit slick, stay home and sketch something seasonal and post it on FB. I have been watching the weather these past few days and the original idea I had for this evening won'f work because of the weather and the lack of the specific venue I am looking for.....So this evening, to beat the cold, we are going to a different coffee shop, one we have not gone to before, the Starbuck's on Sunrise Hwy, the address is 371 North Service Road, it's in the same plaza as Petco. It's at the intersection of Waverly and the North Sunrise Hwy Service Road. They have a nice big table so whoever gets there first, grab that table.

Sketch Night will be at the Roast Coffee & Tea Company on Main Street in Patchogue, Wednesday at  7 PM.  Mellow out with a nice cuppa Joe or one of the many other hot seasonal beverages they are offering.
