This week we will be going to the West Sayville Boat Basin...

 

Here is the link for the directions to the West Sayville Boat Basin http://www.boatbasin.com/directions1.html.  Please park in the parking lot of the Red Building on the right side of Clyde and Walk through gate on far left corner of parking lot.  If anybody has questions they can call CindyFox at  631-338-3480.

Folks, look for my car with the Phillies logo on the back, that's where the gate will be to get in or call Cindy for our location. (Gina)

Sketch Club this week

We are taking a summer break this week!  See you next week!

This Wednesday at 6:30 PM

Folks,

This week we are going to try the village again.   You can sketch on Main Street from Quench to the Theater area if it's nice out....if it rains we'll meet at Queen City Cupcakes and sketch there until they close at 8.  NOTE: If we do get hit with a severe thrunderstorm during the sketch time, please consider the evening canceled.   It's better to be safe than to drive out into a severe storm.  

Don't forget to bring a chair or find a bench and sketch the town. 

This Wednesday July 11th at 6:30 PM

Folks, we are going to sketch from the Ranger Station on Laurel St and Argyle Ln in Patchogue, on the  East side of the Patchogue River....we sketched here in the spring and it was chilly, I am hoping it will be nicer on Wednesday.

There are benches and docks, also a fire boat....there is parking slots on Laurel.

This Wednesday, Independence Day

Folks, because Wednesday is a holiday we won't be sketching, however I enourage you do partipate in our Independence Day Challenge.  Sketch some of your Independence Day Activities this week and either post them on our Facebook Page or email them to me (or both) and I will post them on the blog (not everyone sees the FB group).
